1 What size is your business card?
Two sizes are popular in the UK; 90x55mm and 85x55mm. There is no difference in price between them. Some people feel that the 85x55mm fits better into your wallet. I suppose that depends on the size of your wallet. If you want a different size, call us on 01452 751139 or email us us for a custom price.
2 How do you want this printed?
Currently you can choose from:-
one side in full colour, blank on the back
both sides in full colour
3 Do you want them laminated?
You can choose to have your cards laminated both sides with a silky smooth matt laminate.
4 What card would you like?
The "Standard" card is a top quality stiff board specifically produced for business cards. We are sometimes asked how this compares to the 400gsm Silk Art board commonly used to "litho" print business cards. The silk board will generally be around the same thickness as the 330gsm business card board, but usually not as stiff. Remember, the mineral coating on an art board makes it heavier relative to it's thickness than an uncoated board. The 330gsm business card board is also more matt. If you're not sure, it's best to ask for some samples.
Conqueror is a "brand name" and is often specified by buyers, which is why we have it. It's a bit thinner than our normal card. Is very nice (but then so is our standard card).
5 How fast do you need them?
Standard service is 3 working days to print from approval of artwork and we then send them on a next business day courier.
For non-account customers (with the exception of UK government and local government), we do not schedule your job until payment has been made.
We can upgrade the delivery service to guaranteed next business day service or a Saturday delivery at an extra charge. If you need it in a hurry then the 2 day to print express service is 20% extra. If you're not in a hurry, save 10% by going for our 7 days to print service. All service times are working days until your print job (and finishing) is complete, don't forget to add time in transit to your planning. Collection from our factory is available BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT ONLY.
6 What proofing do you need?
Your first PDF proof is included in the price of your order. This will be viewable through your admin area of the web site. If you find that you need to make alterations and resubmit your artwork, we do charge £5 for each additional proof.
You can also specify a hard copy proof, this is a colour layout proof printed on a digital press on our standard high quality 100gsm smooth white matt paper. If you need additional proofs, they will be charged at £7.50 each. If you need a contract proof, then you should contact us for more information.
DELIVERY
First of all, please read section 7 - "How fast do you need it". Other things to bear in mind are that "business days" for the next business day delivery service is defined by the courier company as Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, excluding bank holidays. This is not a guaranteed next day service, though you can pay extra and order this. Although it's not always possible, it's a really, really good idea to build an extra day into your schedule "just in case"!
